Anticipation instructions can be interpreted as instructions that need to be known in advance so that parents can direct and guide their children wisely so that children can grow and develop normally (Nursalam, 2005). Based on data from the Ministry of Health in 2015, the number of child deaths every year is more than 1.4 million in the world who die from various diseases. Meanwhile, the 2015 Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS) shows that in Indonesia the mortality rate of children under five is 26.29 out of 1,000 births (Indonesian Health Profile, 2016). The purpose of this study was to describe the mother's knowledge of anticipatory guidance for preschool-aged children at TK Kartika Kodim 1703 Manokwari. The design used is descriptive. The population inthis study were all mothers who had preschool age children in TK Kartika Kodim 1307 Manokwari as many as 56 people. The sample used amounted to 34 people who met the exclusion criteria and inclusion criteria. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire and analyzed univariately. The results showed that those who had good knowledge were at most 32 years old, namely 12 people (35.3%), followed by 10 people (29.4%) from 33-40 years old. 41 years are 3 people (8.8%). Meanwhile, based on education, respondents with good knowledge were more at the PT education level, namely 12 people (35.3%), high school totaling 11 people (32.3%), and junior high school amounting to 2 people (5.9%).
