Gambaran Pengetahuan Lansia tentang Hipertensi di Posyandu Getsemani Puskesmas Amban

Background: Patients with hypertension in Indonesia are estimated at 17 million but only 6% have controlled hypertension. Controlled hypertension are those who suffer from hypertension and know that they suffer from hypertension and are being treated. In 2017, there were 86 people who were recorded as hypertension sufferers from the age of 20 years and over, starting from the age of 20 years and above, the female sex was the highest ranked as many as 65 people. A total of 86 hypertension sufferers at the Amban Health Center, 39 of whom are elderly. Research methodology: This type of research uses descriptive research. Elderly population as many as 20 people with a total sample of 20 elderly population. This research was conducted on December 10, 2017 Posyandu Getsemani in the Amban Health Center area. The results of the study: The level of knowledge of the elderly based on the level of education is mostly less knowledgeable in elementary school and high school education with the same percentage.
